yoummday receives funding approval for two innovative research and development projects in CX

Munich, March 24, 2026 – yoummday continues to drive innovation as the leading digital-native contact center for customer support and sales. The German Research Allowance Certification Office (BSFZ) – who is commissioned by the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR) – approved yoummday’s submissions as eligible for funding.
Two approved projects demonstrating strong technological progress
The BSFZ evaluates projects based on three core criteria: novelty compared to the state of the art, the presence of technical uncertainties, and a systematic and methodical development approach. With its positive assessment, the BSFZ confirms that yoummday’s R&D initiatives meet these standards.
The funded projects include:
1. Development of a freelancer platform with a matching function and gamification approach
This project focuses on the development of a modular platform that matches freelancers and corporate clients for customer support and sales projects. The matching algorithm uses skill-based criteria and incorporates gamification elements throughout the process to create a more engaging and accurate selection experience. The approach is complemented by a specially designed training program that strengthens skill development through data-driven insights, thereby improving overall talent quality for client projects.
The platform sets a new benchmark for matching in the CX industry. It enables a significantly better fit between freelancers and customer projects – reflected in lower attrition rates and higher project suitability – creating clear value for both freelancers and clients.
2. AI‑driven model for user verification based on speech and typing behavior
The second initiative advances the development of a highly secure identity verification model that uses machine learning to authenticate remote workers. The system combines speech and typing behavior patterns using a Siamese neural network architecture, enabling an exceptionally precise, robust, and manipulation-resistant form of user verification, while helping to minimize the likelihood of fraud-related misuse.
This technology sets new standards for security-critical applications in digital work environments. It adds an essential layer of protection to yoummday’s digital-native contact center model, which relies on remote freelance agents and requires a high level of security by design.
