Head of Marketing (m/f/d)
München | as from now
Your mission
yoummday? Never heard of it? That's about to change, thanks to you.No marketing that just looks good. No campaign without impact. Real ownership of a function you're bringing together for the first time.
As Head of Marketing (m/f/d) at our headquarters in Munich, you take full ownership of building a new, integrated marketing function, with short decision paths and plenty of room to shape it. Marketing at yoummday has grown organically so far, across three separate areas: Brand & Corporate Communications, Client Marketing (B2B), and Talent Market Place (TMP, B2C-style), our talent marketplace responsible for recruiting our freelance CX agents. You bring these three previously independent teams together: with an aligned strategy, central steering, and unified reporting.
YOUR MISSION
Build a focused, measurable and scalable marketing function that supports client growth, freelancer acquisition, and yoummday's brand positioning in our target markets.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategy & Prioritization. You define the overall marketing and brand strategy across clients, freelance agents, and corporate positioning, set clear priorities and budget allocation, and translate business goals into measurable marketing objectives and roadmaps.
- Organization. You lead the Brand & Communications, Client Marketing, and Talent Market Place teams, clarify roles and interfaces between them, and decide where capabilities should be built internally or covered through agencies and freelancers.
- Cross-Functional Marketing Capabilities. You establish an integrated approach to content, visual design, and brand guidelines, and build consistent analytics, tracking, and performance reporting that effectively supports all target groups and channels.
- Channel and Audience Management. You define the role and objectives of the key channels, including website, performance marketing, social media, ABM, events, partnerships, and PR, and ensure clear end-to-end ownership of the most critical channels.
- Performance Management. You manage marketing based on measurable outcomes such as lead generation, freelancer acquisition, conversion, and brand impact, create transparency on marketing spend and effectiveness, and continuously shift resources based on performance.
Your skillset
- Marketing leadership at scale-up speed. You've led marketing in a scale-up or a similarly dynamic environment, where priorities shift constantly and structures emerge on the fly.
- Strategy and execution in one hand. You think in roadmaps and target pictures as much as in campaign calendars and KPIs, and can show what you've both set up strategically and delivered operationally.
- B2B growth and marketplace logic. You're at home with B2B growth as well as digital acquisition or two-sided marketplace models, where you need to win over both customers and freelance agents.
- Commercial and analytical mindset. You make marketing decisions based on data rather than gut feeling, and understand how marketing translates into revenue, freelancer acquisition, and growth.
- Hands-on leadership. You lead close to the team, set clear direction, and actively develop people, rather than just delegating.
- Steering inward and outward. You've successfully managed agencies and freelancers and know how to work with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Language skills. You communicate confidently in both German and English, spoken and written, at a C-level, and bring a good sense of humor to the table.
