Your mission
We are looking for you as an Accountant (m/f/d) in the capital city office in Berlin, our headquarter in Munich or our office in Halle in a hybrid model.As an Accountant (m/f/d) you will play an important role in our finance team and support the team in various tasks relating to process optimisation and any financial statements and postings in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB).
- Independent financial management: You will independently prepare the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and prepare the consolidated financial statements.
- Holistic accounting processes: You are responsible for the recording and posting of all business transactions, taking into account special VAT features including intercompany reconciliations.
- Compliance & tax conformity: You arrange the submission of advance VAT returns, recapitulative statements and statistical reports.
- Proactive process optimisation: You contribute to special projects and optimisation processes in finance and accounting.
- Number cruncher: You manage ad-hoc analyses and are responsible for the creation and implementation of payment runs.
Your skillset
Education: You have completed training as an accountant or tax clerk and/or further training in these areas or comparable qualifications.Relevant professional experience: You have several years of sound and qualified professional experience in balance sheet accounting, in particular in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (fast close).
Tools-Skills: You have a good command of DATEV Kanzlei-Rechnungswesen and MS Office (especially Excel) as well as very good German and ideally good English skills.
Hands-On Mentality: You like to take responsibility for your own area, enjoy working in a team and have a healthy dose of humour.
