Munich, 23. May 2023 – The Munich-based tech company yoummday has recruited Jim Freeman, 50, for its Board of Directors. The internationally renowned executive, who was most recently Chief Product Officer at Zalando, will support yoummday on topics such as penetrating the US market, product scaling, and the use of AI.

Most recently, Jim Freeman worked for the online platform Zalando, initially as Chief Technology Officer, before leading the development, marketing, and growth of Zalando’s consumer offerings from 2021 to 2023. Before joining Zalando in 2018, Jim Freeman spent nine years in various leadership positions at Amazon. As Vice President, he was responsible for developing Prime Video and Alexa Communications.
Since 2022, Jim Freeman has been a member of the Board of Directors for the Innovation and Audit Committee of SoftwareOne Holding AG and a Senior Advisor at the investment company Permira. Now he is taking on an exciting new task with his membership of the yoummday Board of Directors: “yoummday convinced me immediately. Both the product and the team have huge potential to completely change the business process outsourcing industry by focusing on their talent technology and marketplace,” said Jim Freeman, explaining his decision to join yoummday.
The yoummday Advisory Board also includes Carola Wahl, the German head of the European pay tech Nexi Group, Dr Florian Heinemann, general partner of the venture capitalist investor Project A, as well as Dr Florian Tappeiner, CEO and partner at Armira Growth.
